Orlando Economic Partnership Incoming Board Chair and Chair-Elect Prepare to Assume Roles

Orlando, Fla. –Disney’s Ken Potrock will assume the role of chairman of the Orlando Economic Partnership’s 2017-18 Board of Directors on October 1, 2017. Ken is the senior vice president and general manager of Disney Vacation Club, Adventures by Disney and Golden Oak, a luxury residential community at Walt Disney World Resort. Yolando Londoño, vice president of global social responsibility at Tupperware Brands Corporation, will serve as chair-elect with her term also beginning October 1.  
 
Potrock has served in various leadership roles with the Partnership including as chair of the investor relations committee and the President/CEO search committee, leading to the hiring of the organization’s new CEO, Tim Giuliani.  Additionally, Potrock has been instrumental in the launch of the region’s award-wining branding campaign, “Orlando. You don’t know the half of it,” where he led 40 of the region’s most prolific marketing and communications experts in amplifying the Orlando region’s message while driving positive economic results.

Potrock, a longtime Orlando resident, began his Disney career in 1996 and has held various leadership roles, including vice president of marketing for Disney Cruise Line, senior vice president of Global Alliance Marketing and senior vice president of Disney Sports Enterprises and Downtown Disney. He is also a past chair of Florida Citrus Sports and previously held volunteer leadership positions with the heart of Florida United Way, the American Heart Association and Children’s Miracle Network. 
 
Outgoing co-chairs Robert Utsey, senior vice president of Skanska USA Building Inc. and Sean DeMartino, president of Coastal Construction Group of South Florida Inc., thanked the Partnership’s board and staff for their support throughout the past year during the August 16 Board of Directors meeting.
