Orlando-headquartered Dynetech Corporation earned the number 127 spot in Inc. 500 magazine's listing of America's fastest-growing, privately-held companies.

CoreNet Global, the "granddaddy" of corporate real estate executive associations, announced this week that the group's fall 2006 convention will be held in Orlando. CoreNet Global members manage $1.2 trillion in real estate and workplace assets worldwide and are often critical to site selection decisions. As host to their semi-annual Summit event, Metro Orlando and the state of Florida have a unique opportunity to capture the attention of this audience of senior-level Fortune 500 executives and decision makers. CoreNet last met in Orlando in 2000.

EDC Barbecue... Oh, What A Night!

Traffic was heavy on Central Avenue in front of Lake Eola in downtown Orlando on Wednesday evening, but no automobiles were involved. More than 800 EDC-investors packed the street to enjoy a simple program of fun, fellowship and oh, yes BBQ! Five local vendors served their best fare and jazz musicians Longineau Parsons provided the tunes.

And, Who Was That Voice at the BBQ?
EDC Chairman of the Board, Dean Kurtz, looked and sounded like a natural when taping sound bites for use during the EDC's BBQ. Sincere thanks to Full Sail Real World Education for providing audio equipment and assistance necessary to complete the recorded spots. Full Sail, located on University Blvd. in Winter Park, is a media arts college providing degrees in animation, film, production, digital arts, game design and more.
