As
Director of Film & Digital Media Development (interactive
entertainment, 3-D animation/production, and music), Gloria
LeQuang focuses on digital media sector activities that
attract new companies to the area and assist local companies
looking to expand their operations. In her current role,
she handles project management and sector marketing initiatives
for the region.
Ms.
LeQuang joined the EDC in 1998 as International Relations
and Affairs Coordinator, was promoted to Associate
Director
in 2001, and again to Director of Business Development
a few years later. Her past responsibilities include
export counseling; international event planning; tradeshow
participation;
industry market research; foreign direct investment;
diplomatic relations; lead tracking, and project qualification.
Prior
to joining the EDC, Ms. LeQuang was in charge of coordinating
new business development and marketing efforts
for CHEP Americas, a global pallet and container pooling
solutions company. In addition, her experience also
includes an internship in National Public and Government
Relations
for AAA (formally known as the American Automobile
Association) and an internship in Publicity and Promotions
for Pinecastle
Records / American Bluegrass Network, a bluegrass record
label and syndicated radio show. Currently, Ms. LeQuang
serves on the advisory board for the International
Game Developers Association (Orlando Chapter) and on the
board
of directors for MicheLee Puppets.
