As
Vice President of Business Development, Declan Reiley directs
a team of industry sector specialists
whose mission is to recruit, retain and grow value-added
business in Metro Orlando. He is responsible for managing
a variety of business development and outreach efforts aimed
at both targeted industries and corporate advisors. He also
oversees market research and competitive intelligence-gathering
in support of the EDC’s marketing and proactive business
development efforts.
Mr.
Reiley joined the EDC in 2007 as Director of Business Development
with over 16 years of experience in destination
marketing and economic development. Prior to joining the
EDC, Mr. Reiley served as the Business Development Chief
of the City of Jacksonville’s Economic Development
Commission where he conducted policy administration for generating
high-wage jobs, capital investment and development. He also
previously worked as the Senior Director of Economic Development
for Cornerstone, the economic development division of the
Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce, and worked for
the Portland Development Commission.
Mr. Reiley is enrolled in the upcoming Leadership Orlando
class through the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. He
previously served as the District 4 Director for the Florida
Economic Development Council
