Amy Edge Dinsmore joined the EDC in August 2003 as Director for the Central Florida Technology Partnership (CFTP). Created in 1999, CFTP is managed by the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission in partnership with the Central Florida Innovation Corporation, Florida High Tech Corridor Council and Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. CFTP’s main purpose is to facilitate the sharing of information, ideas and resources that affect Metro Orlando's technology industry and to implement components of the Metro Orlando Technology Strategy, a community technology agenda for the 21st century.

For almost five years, Ms. Dinsmore was the director of communications for the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce. At the Chamber, she oversaw the development, design, production and implementation of all marketing tools for Chamber programs and events, including print, multi-media and web. In addition, Ms. Dinsmore was the executive editor of FirstMonday, the Chambers award-winning monthly publication; contributing editor of Move, its relocation magazine; and editor of EveryMonday, its weekly electronic newsletter. Prior to joining the Chamber, Ms. Dinsmore was the marketing and visual coordinator for Arnold Palmer Golf Management. She was an instrumental member of the Opening Team, traveling the United States to implement the “Palmer Brand” in newly acquired golf courses.
