| True Life: Orlando Production Company Delivers Top Ratings | |
| America’s ongoing obsession with reality television has allowed one local production company to make their mark. With their exceptional ability to reflect the state of youth and pop culture at any given moment, Pink Sneakers Productions has flourished in a fast paced industry finding the key to keeping viewers hooked. Kimberly Belcher created Orlando-based Pink Sneakers with a vision to create entertaining, informative and thought provoking programming with an edge. Since its launch in 2001, the company has exceeded all of their initial ambitions. Pink Sneakers has experienced significant achievement producing high-quality, creative shows that tackle hot topics and get audiences thinking. Pink Sneakers has generated original programming for various networks including MTV, VH1, ABC and Jive Records. Shows like “Hogan Knows Best,” “I Want A Famous Face” and the documentary series “True Life” have each brought tremendous success to the company and consistently delivered high ratings for the networks. The Pink Sneakers production team has developed a unique style of storytelling that allows each of the characters to tell their personal story, from their point of view and in their own voice. The team not only creates and develops new show ideas, but also takes great ideas from clients and turns them into shows that surpass their expectations. The flood of production activity has brought on some changes for the company, including its recent move from the backlot of Universal Studios Orlando to a new 18,000-square-foot office complex in Apopka. There, the company now has room for its 110-person staff, 10 edit suites and a full audio suite. Pink Sneakers has become an asset to the local industry by calling Central Florida its home. Although much of the production is done outside of Orlando, this creative company has been a contributing force to the strengthening of this industry in our region.
