Economic Gardening

In January 2009, Governor Charlie Crist unveiled his Economic
Gardening Stimulus Plan, a proposal to help Florida's small
businesses expand and reach their fullest potential. The EDC is
your point of entry for the services and loan available to
companies through this program to companies in our region.
- Have you maintained your principal place of business in the
state of Florida for at least the previous two years?
- Do you operate in one of the following sectors:
Manufacturing; Finance & Insurance Services; Wholesale Trade;
Information Industries; Professional, Scientific & Technical
Services; Management Services; or Administrative & Support
Services?
- Are you a for-profit business legally authorized to do business
in the State of Florida?
- Do you employ at least 10, but less than 50, employees?
- Do you generate at least $1 million, but no more than $25
million, in revenues annually?
- Have you increased both your number of full-time equivalent
employees and gross revenues in the state of Florida during three
of the previous five years?
If you answered yes to the questions above, you may qualify for
assistance through this state funded program. Contact
