Situated in the center of Florida’s high-tech corridor, Metro Orlando is able to draw on a pool of well-educated workers trained in fields pertinent to the clean technology & sustainable fuels sector, such as electrical engineering and environmental science. The region is home to the University of Central Florida, one of the nation’s leading metropolitan research institutions, which works closely with local industries to develop curricula that meet employment needs. The region’s community colleges augment the workforce by offering courses to also provide a well-rounded education to supplement the employee pool.
