Today’s economic landscape may look barren, but new strategies of “economic gardening” are being planted that, with the right nurturing, will help sprout new jobs and seed renewed prosperity. The EDC’s 2009 Economic Outlook provided insight into this concept of economic gardening and how Central Florida companies can nurture its success. In addition to a forecast by esteemed UCF economist Sean Snaith, we heard from national economic gardening expert Mark Lange, well as a panel of local business leaders from all stages of economic growth that benefit from economic gardening.
