Exports
are on the rise in Metro Orlando making it the third largest export
market in Florida. Local manufacturers exported nearly $2.5 billion
of goods in 2006, which brings the export value per manufacturing
employee to more than $55,000. This reflects 13.3% growth over
the prior year.
